2. Resale of Third-Party Products (Vent Trade, Brett Martin, Ventlux)

Ramspec AOV Solutions Limited is an authorized reseller of products manufactured by third parties.

• Technical Data: All descriptions, dimensions, and performance data (such as U-values or aerodynamic free area) are provided by the manufacturers. While we strive for accuracy, we rely on the data provided by brands like Brett Martin, Vent Trade, and Ventlux.

• Modifications: We do not modify the goods. Any unauthorized modification by the customer voids all warranties.

3. Limited Warranty & Liability

As a reseller, Ramspec AOV Solutions Limited does not provide a separate internal warranty.

• Manufacturer Warranty: We “pass through” the benefit of the manufacturer’s warranty to you. If a product from Ventlux or Brett Martin is found to be faulty, the claim will be subject to that specific manufacturer’s terms and inspection.

• Liability Limit: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the goods. We are not liable for “consequential losses” (e.g., the cost of scaffolding, crane hire, or project delays) due to a faulty product.

4. Order Acceptance & Pricing

• Contract Formation: A contract is only formed once we have dispatched the goods. An automated “Order Acknowledgment” is not a formal acceptance.

• Price Changes: Because we resell third-party goods, our prices are subject to manufacturer increases. We reserve the right to cancel an order and refund you if a price error occurs or a manufacturer price hike makes the sale unviable.

5. Delivery & Site Requirements

• Off-Loading: Many of our products (especially rooflights) are heavy. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate labor or machinery is available to off-load the goods safely.

• Inspection: AOV components are sensitive electronic/mechanical items. You must inspect for transit damage and notify us within 24 hours. Claims for “hidden damage” reported weeks later may be rejected by the manufacturers.

6. Returns & Cancellations

• Bespoke/Made-to-Order: Please note that many AOV and rooflight systems are manufactured to specific dimensions. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, bespoke items are non-refundable unless faulty.

• Trade Returns: For standard stock items, trade returns are subject to a restocking fee (typically 25%) to cover the manufacturer’s return-to-factory costs.
